The Office of Examination Controller conducts all assessment processes autonomously. Evaluation is meant to measure students' learning, skills, and understanding. Through the assessment process, students show they have achieved the course objectives and are able to demonstrate that they have met the standard. Additionally, assessment assists students to identify and enhance their achievements, and to reflect upon their learning.
The Examination Controller is fully aware of the just demands of the students, and places a high priority on their welfare. The Examination Section acknowledges the need to reform the traditional examination and assessment system and is constantly striving to develop a credible, bonafide and effective evaluation system that meets the needs and challenges presented by the outside world.
