Mr. Pathak is a registered pharmacist. He completed his Bachelor's in Pharmacy from Tribhuvan University (TU), Nepal. After graduating from TU, he worked as a Pharmacy officer in a governmental hospital for about 3 years where he was involved in providing pharmaceutical services (processing of prescriptions, dispensing, and counseling of medicines to patients) to hospital patients. Similarly, he also participated in the discussions and decisions with doctors and other healthcare professionals via the Drug and Therapeutic Committee to procure medicines and manage the overall Pharmacy department. He completed his Master's in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Clinical Pharmacy) from the School of Health and Allied Sciences, Pokhara University, Nepal.

Currently, he is working as a clinical pharmacist at Hetauda Hospital, based in Bagmati Province, Makwanpur, Nepal, and also as a lecturer at the Department of Pharmacy and Clinical Pharmacology at Madan Bhandari Academy of Health Sciences, Bagmati Province, Makwanpur, Nepal. His current interest includes cancer care, mental health along with pharmaceutical health policy and clinical pharmacy services concerning drug-related problems. Besides these, he is also a cinephile, an anime/manga, and a nature lover.
